Reports broke earlier this week that Robert Pattinson is now happily engaged to his girlfriend and musician FKA Twigs and due to this, his ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart is not happy about it and a friend who is very supportive of her in this difficult time is her co-actor Taylor Lautner.
A source told Hollywood Life that the co-actors from the "Twilight" saga are talking now as Pattinson broke Stewart's hear with the rumored engagement reports. 24-year-old Stewart is depending on the 23-year-old Lautner for a shoulder to cry on.
The source pointed out that Lautner was the one who reached out to Stewart to remind her that the situation is already out of her control and should not blame it on what she did in the past. Stewart and Pattinson were once an item and shared a romantic relationship for a few years but she was found guilty of cheating on Pattinson with the director of the movie "Snow White and the Huntsman."
Lautner reportedly found out about the engagement of Pattinson to FKA Twigs via the internet just like everyone else. The source shared that Lautner has always been there for Stewart regarding her relationship troubles or any problem for that matter. The source added that Lautner understands Stewart as the engagement reports is starting to get to her head.
The source also noted that Stewart found out about the engagement via the internet as he did not dare reach out to her about it. However, a source close to Pattinson shared that he did not have to tell Stewart personally since they no longer talk to each other and they are living different lives since they broke up. Stewart is no longer part of Pattinson's life because FKA Twigs is his life as of the moment.
Meanwhile, despite the heartache that Stewart is going through, Just Jared snapped a photo of her showing off a big smile on her face after she was spotted in Los Angeles a day after it was announced that she landed a role in the movie "Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk."
