Although Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon are in the process of getting a divorce but for Easter Sunday, the two reunited for the first time since last year in order to let their twins enjoy the festivity.
Carey shared a photo on her Instagram page showing that they are to have loads of fun while preparing to hunt for Easter eggs. Three-year-olds Monroe and Moroccan were running in the photo while Carey and Cannon held the baskets for their bundles of joy.
In the photo, no one was looking at the camera as the family was focused on looking for the eggs. Carey captioned the photo wishing her fans a Happy Easter as she was photographed wearing a pink dress. As for her ex-husband, he just stood beside her and was looking at where Carey was pointing at.
A few hours before the said photo was uploaded, she also showed another photo of her in the kitchen and is reportedly baking Easter cupcakes for the much-anticipated holiday.
According to E! News, Cannon already has a new love interest identified as model Jessica White but pointed out that he will always be there for his kids and their important events in life. He shared in the interview that he makes a connection first above anything else.
Cannon also stated that despite the independence of their twins, Monroe and Moroccan still share rooms but he pointed out that they will be getting their own rooms soon since they are to turn four in a couple of weeks.
As for Carey, she recently celebrated her birthday Mar. 27 and is rumored to be romantically linked to Brett Ratner. However, People reported that Carey and Ratner are best of friends as per the statement issued by the latter's representative. Carey is also preparing for her residency at The Colloseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas for her show on May 6.
