Dell announced the successor of Venue 8 7000 tablet - Venue 10 7000 tablet that is all set to attract the business centric environment as opposed to its predecessor's consumer centric features.
The Verge remarked that the tablet houses 2560 x 1600 OLED display. Moreover, the tablet has a sleek shape with thickness of only 6.2 mm making it more comfortable to hold that its predecessor Venue 8. In addition, it packs a micro USB slot, headphone jack and a microSD slot with expandable memory upto 512 GB. The tablet uses Android Lollipop with the old gallery and the same sluggish unintuitive camera as its predecessors.
According to Tom's Hardware, the tablet can be used in multiple modes some being tent mode, stand mode, and clamshell mode. This increases the usablity value of the product by a number of times and also makes it an ideal companion for the business traveler on the go. It provides users the opportunity to make changes to their project report remotely while having their personal data lying in the obscurity completely safe.
The tablet also packs a 7,000 mAh battery provides a seven hour backup though it is remarked that it won't last longer than the battery backup of Venue 8. Venue 10 7000 tablet's keyboard reportedly belongs to the class of elite keyboard with super responsive keys and backlight. The tablet will be available starting at $499 for the basic model.
The tablet market has become completely stalled and is in the dire need of some innovation which has been facilitated by Dell ever since Venue 8.
