iPad Pro release date will come sooner than later as the device was spotted in a German retailer earlier this month.
The much-awaited massive tablet from Apple is reportedly coming this year, although reports are still battling when the tablet will arrive in the market. French website Nowhereelse cited 24mobile.de that allegedly listed unannounced Apple devices, including the iPad Pro.
However, BGR reported that the names listed by the abovementioned website may not coincide with the final names of Apple devices. iPad Pro may also be coined as iPad Plus because of its size.
Bloomberg previously reported that the production of iPad Pro will begin in September. The report added that there is an undefined problem in the procurement of the 12.9 inch screen displays from Apple's supplier.
There are rumors that iPad Pro will also pack Intel chipset and not the A-series processor similar to what is packed in other iPads. Moreover, the device will also sport a universal Type-C USB 3.0 port and longer battery life. The tablet will be Apple's entry to laptop-tablet market and will be equipped with a detachable keyboard to transform it into a laptop. Due to the upgrade in the device, the tablet is rumored to be $150 more expensive than the iPad Air 2.
If rumors proved to be true, the iPad Pro is speculated to be launched alongside the iPad Air 3 and iPad Mini 4. iPad Pro will target business professionals. There is a big chance that it will be a success, but there is also a possibility that the larger tablet will cannibalize the sales of other Apple devices like the iPad Air and MacBook Air.
