The scientists are enthusiastic about the phenomenon of naturally occurring phenomenon of PDO (Pacific Decadal Oscillation) as it is helping Earth to cool down from the apparent heat waves and global warming, which heats up the planet.
The Pacific Ocean current were on a forefront for absorbing the excess heat which was emitted by the greenhouse gases since the year 2000, but this process might be reversed now, according to Live Science.
The naturally occurring phenomenon is nothing but a wobble in the climate system of the planet which leads to the release and burial of heat in to the ocean body, Washington Post stated.
The surface temperature of the ocean floors change when they oscillate that can alter the temperature at their surface. But the temperature does not remain constant throughout, it tends to change between cool and warm.
The natural air conditioner for our planet Earth will soon be converting to a natural heater and will start to spew more heat in to the atmosphere. People are already witnessing such an unnatural increase in atmospheric temperature that if the process of PDO gets reversed, it is a very bad news for planet Earth.
Pattern study reveals that the temperature will be getting flipped back to warm at the Pacific Ocean bed and will soon make it a very warm water body. With an account of only 0.15 Celsius towards the increase or decrease in the climatic temperature, the oceans still contribute a lot when it comes to the change of climatic pattern all around the globe.
Scientists say that the pattern is yet to show a change in surface temperature, but one thing is for sure that global warming is inevitable.
