Kyle Busch disclosed on April 15, Wednesday, about his NASCAR crash experience which leaves him with a broken right leg and a broken left foot.
Busch relives his crash and said that it was obviously one whale of a hit and the hardest that he had in a NASCAR competition. Since his crash in the Xfinity Series race in February, the only update that emerges about the car racer was from social media. On April 15, Wednesday, he made his first appearance after the horrifying crash, Sporting News reported.
The NASCAR racer talked about his crash and walked through every detail from the time his car turned sideways and slammed head-on onto the concrete wall at a 2.5-mile speedway.
Busch can recall the accident so vividly and what he was feeling at the time. He disclosed about the decisions he made at the moment seconds before the car's impact on the interior concrete wall at Daytona International Speedway on Feb. 21. He was thinking that it was over for him.
Talking about the reliving of his crash from few different angles, Busch broke down every details of what actually happened.
"I'm thinking to myself, 'Man, I'm done,'" Busch recalled. "There's no way I'm going to be able to come back from this. This hurts."
According to USA Today, Busch was disappointed that the wall was not covered.
Busch explained that he plans to come back stronger but no timeframe was disclosed as of yet. He admitted that the incident has given him the chance to strengthen his marriage with his pregnant wife Samantha and friendships off the track.
