Bobby Kristina Brown, the only child of the late singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, is now out of coma and is no longer on life support system. The same has been declared on Facebook by the celebrity child's aunt, Tina Brown.
"So many messages, sorry can't answer them all right now but I will get to them later," wrote Tina on the Kristina's Facebook fan page. "Just allow me this time with my family,,yes, she woke up and is no longer on life support."
Tina is Bobby's sister and was consistently present with the family from past couple of months since the tragedy struck. Her recent post is receiving mixed comments with some fans expressing happiness and gratitude while others are still skeptical about its authenticity. No formal announcement has been made yet on Kristina's medical condition by official sources.
Earlier, Bobby stunned his fans at Frankie Beverly concert yesterday by announcing on stage that his daughter is awake and watching him, Us Weekly reported. His speech was captured by a fan in a video who uploaded the same on the Instagram late night. Watch the video below.
Despite Bobby's public announcement, his statement sounded emotional and seemed misleading. Also, a source close to the family later confirmed to People that nothing has changed much and the 22-year-old celebrity child is still in coma.
But after the recent post on Kristina's official Facebook fan page, it appears that Kristina is indeed awake and improving. The celebrity child was rushed to hospital on Jan, 31, after being discovered unresponsive and face down in a bathtub of her house. She was placed in medically induced coma and was on life support system since then.
Bobby was constantly present on his daughter's bedside and was responsible for taking all the medical condition. At one point of time, it was even rumored that Kristina's relatives, including Houstone's sister and mother, are pressurizing Bobby to pull the lplug on life support system and let her go. Meanwhile, Kristina's long time lover and Houston's adopted son, Nick Gordon is still in the rehab.
Gordon was undergoing through a meltdown as he was reportedly refused to meet Kristina in the hospital. After an interview-cum-intervention show by Dr Phil, Gordon agreed to admit in a rehab to fight his drinking problem.
