For the first time in almost two months and a half , Bobby Brown is leaving the side of her comatose daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown to obligate professional commitments. Kristina is the only child of Brown with his late ex-wife and the late legendary singer, Whitney Houston.
Brown has earlier cancelled a bunch of concerts to be by his daughter's side at the time of the crisis. However, it seems that this time it is unavoidable and Bown is forced to move on and pick up the pieces of his music career.
The 46-year-old entertainer will be away from his daughter this weekend. TMZ reported that the R&B singer will be jetting off to Los Angeles to appear at the Soul Food Festival due to his pre-decided commitments. The deal to perform at the event was signed long back, much before Kristina's hospitalization.
Kristina is currently on life support system after being discovered lying face down in the bathtub of her house on Jan 31. The 21-year-old celebrity child is now shifted to a medical rehab facility where she continues to remain in the vegetative state.
Brown is also scheduled to perform three shows in Australia in May. The shows were supposed to happen in March but the dates were extended in the wake of the serious condition of his daughter. Brown reportedly wants to postpone the dates again, but the show's promoters are putting a legal pressure on him to perform in Australia.
Meanwhile, the exact cause of Kristina's present state is still a mystery as it is yet unknown how the celebrity child ended up being unconscious in the filled bathtub. On the other hand, Nick Gordon, the adopted son of the late singer and long time partner of Kristina, has been reported to be doing well in rehab.
The 25-year-old had checked himself into a rehab after a dramatic on camera intervention by Dr Phil. "Nick is responding well to rehab treatment with no relapses," The Hamilton Spetator quoted a source. "The quiet time is good for him."
