Daredevil Episode 2 Season 1
"Daredevil" season 1 episode 2 titled "Cut Man" provides more insights on Matt Murdock. Here, Murdock is keen to gain more information about the crimes and who are behind those.
The first episode of "Daredevil" was an impressive one. The show certainly met the expectations of its viewers. There were extreme fight scenes, injuries and definitely more action packed in just one episode. The characters are expected to captivate the audience.
According to The Guardian, this was something Marvel hoped for, to receive good reviews from their fans. The creators of the show are quite thankful that they produced an instant hit. The team is quite hopeful they will receive better ratings.
In "Daredevil" season 1 episode 2 titled "Cut Man," Murdock is found severely injured, and in a very bad state. His body is near an alleyway dumpster. Fortunately, a good Samaritan comes along and he gets some help from Claire (Rosario Dawson). Claire is a nurse who ensured that Murdock will recover from his injuries properly.
The on-screen chemistry between Claire and Murdock is undeniable, as TV Over Mind noted.
In this episode, Murdock uses his abilities, like hearing people approaching the apartment of Claire. The interaction between the two main characters is nice.
Murdock had some flashbacks in this episode on his father. It focused on Murdock's father being paid a lot for him to lose on his fights. This was how he made sure that his son would be better off financially. Murdock remembered how difficult it was for him as a little boy.
More action happens in this episode because Murdock discovers the hideout of the Russians. He was so brave in taking them all out. It was obvious that the fight scenes were choreographed pretty well. In the end, Murdock was able to save the kid from the Russians who were running a child trafficking business.
Claire then realized that Murdock is a person worth helping since his quest is to fight the injustice happening in Hell's Kitchen in "Daredevil" season 1 episode 2 titled "Cut Man."
