LG Electronics announced the new LG G4 with stunning specs and features.
The flagship smartphone of the Korean brand will battle against the flagship handsets of other Android-based mobile manufacturers. One of its nemeses is the upcoming Sony Xperia Z4 after it skipped the Mobile World Congress in March. The two will most likely have a face-off in the fall.
Below is the comparison of the specs and features of the new LG G4 against the rumored Sony Xperia Z4:
Display
LG G4 boasts a 5.5 inches screen display with quad HD (1440 x 2560) pixel resolution, while the Sony Xperia Z4 is rumored to sport a 5-inch or bigger screen display with 2K resolution.
Processor
LG G4 disappointed some waiting fans as it sports a Snapdragon 808 chipset, instead of the newer Snapdragon 810 SoC and paired it with Adreno 418 GPU. However, LG defended that it uses the former processor as it is more stable and has no overheating issues unlike the latter. Sony Xperia Z4 is rumored to push the octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with Adreno 420 graphics chipset.
Operating System
LG G4 runs with Android 5.1 Lollipop OS, which is probably the same version that Sony Xperia Z4 will use.
Storage
LG's flagship smartphone packs 32 GB internal storage and a microSD slot of up to 128 GB. Sony Xperia Z4 will most likely follow the previous internal storages of its predecessor - Xperia Z3.
Camera
LG G4 sports a primary shooter of 16 MP at the back and 8 MP selfie camera. On the other hand, Sony Xperia Z4 is rumored to sport a 24 MP rear camera and 12 MP front-facing camera.
Battery
LG G4 is supported by 3000 mAh battery juice. It is still unknown what is the battery capacity of Sony Xperia Z4, but reports claimed that the smartphone will pack greater battery life.
