Owners of the LG G2 and G3 smartphones are experiencing performance issues after getting the Android 5.0 Lollipop update, according to Tech Times. The users report several issues involving Wi-Fi connectivity, slow charging and battery drain.
Users of the LG G3 and G2 are not happy with the Android 5.0 Lollipop update. Many carriers in the United States have pushed the latest OS to the G2 and G3, and the results are mixed. While some LG owners are happy with the update, others are not. Wi-Fi connectivity, slow charging and battery drain are among the most prevalent issues.
One user said that they are experiencing trouble with Facebook, slow charging and battery drain. Another user said that the phone has no battery life and it takes hours to completely charge.
Several owners of the smartphones recommend a factory reset to improve the performance of the Android 5.0 update. However, besides losing all the information in the process, it does not appear to work for several users.
One user said that they have done 4 factory resets and the battery charges quicker but now the Wi-Fi is too slow and the drain is fast.
A minority of owners reported no problems with the update. One user said that their LG G3 is working perfectly after the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.
Owners of other manufacturers' smartphones are also experiencing Android 5.0 Lollipop problems. To fix the problems, some carriers have released small updates to Lollipop 5.0.
On April 28, LG declared the release of its latest flagship smartphone, the G4, The Christian Post reported. The smartphone comes with 32GB storage option, which is expandable. LG G4 weighs 155 grams and has a 8MP front camera and a 16MP rear camera.
