Kim Kardashian asked her mom, Kris Jenner, to let Bruce Jenner go in the recent teaser for an upcoming episode of "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."
Earlier this month, Mr. Jenner sat down for an interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC's "20/20." During their conversation, he detailed how he is transitioning from a man to a woman. His ex-wife declined to give her comments on the said discussion.
However, a clip from "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" showed how emotional the matriarch of the Kardashian clan was when she learned about her ex-husband's gender transition. While talking to her daughter, Ms. Jenner recalled the memories she shared with her ex-husband and felt like all of it just does not exist anymore, E! News reported.
However, Kardashian did not side with her mother and reminded her that her stepdad's transition did not have anything to do with her or anyone else but himself.
"He has to deal with this for his entire life of waking up and feeling like, 'Whoa, this is not my body. This does not feel comfortable.' You really have to like let go," the reality TV star said in the clip.
Mr. Jenner received countless support from his family, friends and fans following his admission on television. During his interview, he revealed that Kardashian was one of those that showed him the biggest support, according to KPopStarz.
Kardashian's husband, Kanye West, was instrumental in helping her deal with her stepfather's transition.
At one point, the "FourFiveSeconds" singer told his wife, "Look, I can be married to the most beautiful woman in the world, and I am. I can have the most beautiful daughter in the world, and I have that. But I am nothing if I can't be me. If I cannot be true to myself, it does not mean anything."
"Keeping Up With the Kardashians" airs every Sunday on E!
