"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" saw an emotional reunion episode to conclude its seventh season that featured NeNe Leakes walking out of the set when her mother was mentioned on the show.
In the third part of the Reunion Special for season 7, Leakes took center stage when she talked to Cynthia about their personal issues.
After both agreeing that they should work out their friendship, the cast of "RHOA" spoke with a therapist named Dr. Jeff, to seek for some advice regarding their personal lives.
During Leakes' conversation with Dr. Jeff, the reality TV star admitted to doing everything wrong whenever a housewife confronted her.
When the therapist hinted that her way of dealing with things could have something to do with how she was raised by her mother, Leakes walked out of the set, according to Venture Capital Post.
While speaking to the website Perez Hilton, Leakes clarified that her walking out did not mean her actual exit from the hit reality TV series. In fact, she said that she would be more than willing to return for another season.
"I would be happy to come back if we could find the right girls... If the show starts this way, I can't see myself doing it... who wants to work in a stressful environment?" she said at that time.
Additionally, Leakes also said that she wants to work only with people who can show her some respect and who knows their boundaries, an obvious indication that she was indeed offended when her mother was brought up during the filming of the episode.
