Nicolas Wending Refn recently completed the shoot of his latest thriller "The Neon Demon" and the first movie still showed a bloody Elle Fanning lying on a sofa with her throat slit.

The team released a first look of the movie showcasing some stills of the lead actors including, Elle Fanning, Alessandro Nivola, Jena Malone, Bella Heathcote, Keanu Reeves and others. Other photos showed Fanning under Neon Lights in a close up shot and a bizarre shot of director Refn sitting on a sofa.

Refn's production house Space Rocket Nation produces the movie. It is a horror film about an aspiring model and events that take place around her. The movie is set in the city of Los Angeles, where she moves in to experience some terrifying events, according to Cobess.
The photographs probably echo the theme of the movie, which is said to be describing the vicious effects of beauty and how a couple of beauty obsessive women suck her beauty. These jealous women are willing to resort to any extent to destroy her beauty, according to Slash Film.

The movie's inspiration is the dreaded Countess Elizabeth Bathory de Ecsed, who is also known as the Blood Countess. Almost four centuries ago, she had killed countless number of men and women. She is also credited to be a woman accused with the most murders in history.

The crew is set to start post production activities of "Neon Demon" shortly and the movie will be released in 2016 worldwide.
