Actress Emma Stone appears to be interested in "Spider-Gwen," a recently released comic book revolving around her "The Amazing Spider-Man" character Gwen Stacy. But will Emma Stone be interested in reprising her role and don the superhero costume in a standalone movie?
Speaking to MTV at a press conference for her upcoming movie "Aloha," Emma Stone talked about the Spider-Gwen. At the same time, the actress refrained from revealing too many details and show too much interest. However, she did reveal that she has read about the character.
"Yeah, I don't know. I know nothing about it, but I have read 'Spider-Gwen.' That's all I know. I think a lot of pieces would have to come together," Emma Stone the aforementioned entertainment news publication.
According to Cinema Blend, the actress neither has confirmed that the movie will happen nor has she completely eliminated the possibility of "Spider-Gwen" movie.

Meanwhile, Comicbook explains that in an alternate universe of Marvel comic books there Gwen Stacy becomes a Spider-woman after being bitten by radioactive spider. As for Peter Parker, he actually takes the form of a lizard-like villain.
Several media outlets including those mentioned above are speculating that a "Spider-Gwen" movie is a good idea because it projects a different universe that will not interfere with Marvel Cinematic Universe.
