Fans can expect to see some major action as the show opens with "Game On, Charles." According to the official synopsis for Episode 1 on ABC Family's official website, Aria, Spencer, Mona, Emily and Hanna are still trapped in a property located just outside Charles' dollhouse. Since there is no escape, they must deal with an angry tormentor whose identity remains unknown.
But Liars are certain that this is Charles' and it's another game plan to trouble them. However, his ways has only become darker. The girls put in all their efforts to free themselves and survive the torture. At the same time, they begin to piece together the mystery of Charles' story.
Furthermore, Ezra, Toby and Caleb deal with disagreement among themselves. Ezra and Caleb want to find their girls with or without Rosewood P.D.'s assistance.
Meanwhile, a promo video (via YouTube.com/ Pretty Little Liars) for Season 6 Episode 1 reveals that Alison is out of the jail. In a press conference, she addresses the media and the public and speaks about her friends being kidnapped and announces that Mona is alive. And the prime suspect for the kidnapping of the girls is Andrew Campbell.
Fans must brace themselves for a "darker season" as revealed by "Pretty Little Liars" (PLL) star Janel Parrish, who portrays the role of Mona. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, the actress discloses that this might be the "darkest season ever." According to her, each girl has their own set of problems to deal with that will have lasting effects.
"Every girl gets a different type of torture that, again, you'll find out more about as the season goes on, but it's dark -- it's really dark," Janel Parrish told the aforementioned publication.
Rest assured that the Liars will definitely find their way out of the dollhouse. Synopsis of Season 2 reveals that the girls might have been able to escape the dollhouse. However, they have a lot to deal with as a result.
