"Pretty Little Liars" star Janel Parrish, who plays the role of Mona, recently dished that the gas mask seen in the sixth season of the hit ABC Family series will play a crucial role in the story.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Parrish explained that Charles DiLaurentis, also known as "Big A," will not necessarily give the liars any present without a reason behind it.
The actress added that Mona is actually Charles' favorite liar, but this does not mean that she will be off the hook with all of his tricks. In season 6, Mona will also be punished just like Aria (Lucy Hale), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Emily (Shay Mitchell).
Meanwhile, in the teaser clip for "Game On, Charles," Mona was the one featured wearing the gas mask. At one point during season 6, Mona will be using the gas mask and with very good reason, Spoilers Guide noted.
In other news, the first episode of "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 aired on Tuesday night and indeed, it kicked off where season 5 left off. All the liars were still trapped inside the creepy dollhouse while Alison DiLaurentis (Sasha Pieterse) searched for them.
The actress previously talked about the direction of season 6 and said that as of late, Alison still does not have any idea who Charles really is but suggested that the he could be related to the DiLaurentis clan one way or the other way.
Once Charles' identity is revealed, Pieterse suggested that fans will definitely be shocked to know who he is.
"Pretty Little Liars" airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC Family.
