Microsoft's two high-profile Xbox One exclusives – “Forza Motorsport 6” and “Rise of the Tomb Raider” will reportedly hit the shelves on Sep. 18 and Nov. 13 respectively.
With just a few days to big event - E3 2015, the release dates of the much awaited games have been leaked accidentally by Amazon through its France retail listing. The retailer has since changed the dates back to December 31 placeholders.
The listings were first spotted by a NeoGaf user, who has even shared screenshots of the listing in the NeoGaf thread.
According to the listing, Turn 10's upcoming racer – “Forza Motorsport 6” will be launched on Sep 18, while the next chapter in the journey of Lara Croft – “Rise of the Tomb Raider” will be released on Nov 13, probably in Europe. With this leaked release dates, the US release for “Forza 6” is speculated to be on Sep. 15, and “Rise of the Tomb Raider” to be on Nov. 10, as per GameZone.
Given that the “Halo 5: Guardians” is likely scheduled for an October release, the release dates leaked for “Forza 6” and “Rise of the Tomb Raider” line up well for the holiday season.
Microsoft has been teasing the fans in the past week with a trailer for “Rise of the Tomb Raider,” and has even revealed “Forza 6” gameplay details.
The company is yet to comment on the leaked release dates. However, Microsoft is expected to reveal more details about both of these highly anticipated Xbox games at its E3 press conference to be held on Monday, June 15.
