“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” PC version will receive a new hotfix - patch 1.06, early next week, to fix some of the issues the players face currently.
Following the patch 1.06 for PC, the console version of the game will also have patch 1.05 addressing the same issues as well as additional fixes including the save game issue and the money cap issue.
"Right after the weekend we are planning to release a hotfix for PC (1.06). It will address the most reported issues by the community," wrote Marcin Momot, the CD Projekt Red's Community Lead, in the game's official forum.
“The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.06, which is said to be currently in the development stage, includes fix for endless loading screen issue in the quest "Lord of Undvik," during the fight with Ice Giant, for the bug causing Geralt's clothes to be wet once after leaving the menu, and also for the lack of interaction with Roche in the "Get Junior" quest. In the "Scavenger Hunt: Viper School Gear" quest, the gate in the crypt will work correctly with the update. Issue related to creating more than one item through Crafting/Alchemy, will also be resolved.
Marcin Momot, in his response to some players complaining about other issues in “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” like mutagens glitch, frame rate drops on PS4, inventory bug, the pop-in problem on PC, has also noted that this patch 1.06 is just a hotfix, and there are more patches with lots of changes, currently in development for the game.
It's been just a week since the CD Projekt Red released a patch for the PC update 1.05, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One - update 1.04, that brought about a number of changes along with bug fixes, including the dreaded no XP glitch, along with improvements in general stability and performance.
