The much awaited iPad Mini 4 release, expected to be in October, will mostly likely happen alongside the new iOS 9 release.
Rumor has it that Apple will follow its tradition of refreshing the iPad Mini lineup every year and roll out the upcoming device this October.
iPad Mini 4 is speculated to feature a 7.9-inch display with key changes to the software. The device will be more of redemption for the iPad Mini 3, which is an Apple's effort to make things up to the customers, Product-Reviews reported.
The long-rumored device will reportedly pack the powerful A9 processor and come with improved hardware in comparison to its predecessor. The upcoming iPad Mini 4 will boast to be the thinnest and lightest tablet yet, possibly taking on a slight iPad Air 2 form, according to Inquisitr.
If the rumors turn true, iPad Mini 4 will have similar specifications to another upcoming device in another iPad lineup - iPad Air 3, which is also expected to hit the shelves by the end of this year. The iPad Mini 3 successor is said to come with Touch ID, 2GB RAM, improved speakers, 128GB storage capacity, a sharper display, and run on the recently revealed iOS 9.
The highly anticipated iPad Mini 4 is speculated to debut with the Verizon carrier with lower starting price - $399. However, nothing is certain as of now, as Apple is yet to officially comment on anything related to iPad Mini 4 release.
The Cupertino is reportedly having another device – 12.9-inch iPad Pro, in the development stage, rumored for an October release.
