The English dub version of "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" movie is slated to have a limited release in the U.S. from Aug. 4-12 in over 1,000 theaters.
A series of never-before-seen posters of the cast has just been revealed by FUNimation Entertainment just in time for the highly anticipated event.
Comic Book has just been granted access to several posters of Beerus, Frieza, Gohan, Goku, Krillin, Piccolo, Vegeta and Whis, which was made exclusively for international release of the animated movie.
"Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F," the follow-up to "Dragon Ball Z: Battle if Gods," is the 20th film in the "Dragon Ball Z" franchise. The movie is based on the mangaF of the same name written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama. It was said that Toriyama had been very much involved in the making of the film, from its concept to the screenplay.
Variety reported that the film would follow the life and adventures of Goku as he tries to look for the seven orbs, also known as the Dragon Balls. It also hinted that the iconic villain Frieza will be making his return to cause havoc once again.
The world premiere of the English dub of "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" is slated on July 2 at 8 p.m. in Los Angeles. Actors Seán Schemmel (Goku) and Christopher R. Sabat (Vegeta) are expected to attend the red carpet premiere. Tickets for the film would go on sale beginning June 26. Fans could also RSVP at the official website to receive updates about the premiere.
