"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" star Kaya Scodelario recently injured herself after falling on the set of the upcoming Disney movie. Now, there are rumors that she will be replaced because her recovery is stalling the production.
According to Perth Now, the "Maze Runner" star sustained a serious shoulder injury last week. This is not the first time that a cast member has been injured while on set. Two months ago, lead star Johnny Depp, who plays the role of Captain Jack Sparrow injured his hand.
Following her accident, Scodelario was spotted leaving her hotel on Sunday with a sling attached to her left arm. This has led fans to further speculate that she could be leaving the franchise for good.
However, it has been confirmed that no such thing will happen because after Scodelario fully recovers from her accident, she will return as usual to filming her scenes on "Pirates of the Caribbean 5."
Meanwhile, a leaked footage from the set of the film showed featured the huge fake whale that will be part of the movie.
According to IBTimes, the work on the whale started on Tuesday and it is reportedly made out of coated polystyrene materials. The whale will also be transported to Hastings Point, where the other cast members are filming after it is completed this coming Friday.
"Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" also stars Orlando Bloom as Will Turner, Javier Bardem as Captain Salazar, Geoffrey Rush as Hector Barbossa and more.
