Samsung Galaxy S6 themes are very much in demand as the TouchWiz UI on the new Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge allows users to customize their handsets by adding new themes. By using different themes, users can give a unique appeal to their handsets instantly.
One of the most desired Galaxy S6 themes is the Material Design template that can be availed from the Themes Store. The Material Design theme will add a stock Android appearance to the device. Most of the apps and icons on the device such as the Dialer, Messages, and Lockscreen and so on appear different. It brings a new color shade for the notification, Droid Life reported.
When a new Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge is purchased, the handsets come with only three themes onboard, Phone Arena reported. However, Samsung is regularly updating the Themes Store with new and attractive free themes for Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Some of the newly added themes include Butterfly, Goodnight, RED soccer, Pastel check, A cup of lemonade, Horizon, Peach flower, Oriental line, and My cat.
In order to install a theme, users are required to navigate to Settings and tap on Themes that can be found listed in the Personal section. It will show the pre-installed themes provided by Samsung. Users can either select any of the three themes or tap on Store to view a collection of themes. Users can tap and select a desired theme and hit the download button to apply it.
For easier access, users can put a shortcut of the Theme Store on the homescreen. To do this, users are required to go to Menu on the Theme Store and then tap on Settings and then select "Create a shortcut to Theme Store."
