A benchmark of the alleged Sony Xperia Z4 Compact was recently leaked and was quickly picked up by several tech sites. The benchmark results showed interesting specs for the Xperia Z4 Compact.
Sony has yet to announce the Sony Xperia Z4 Compact with model number E5663. However, based on GFXBench's listing, the upcoming flagship smartphone from Sony is believed to have 3 GB of internal memory albeit only 2.6 GB of it is usable.
The Xperia Z4 Compact will have an octa-core MediaTek MT6795 processor running at 1.9GHz coupled with a PowerVR Rogue G6200 graphics processing unit.
Sony Xperia Z4 Compact is also rumored to sport a 4.6-inch display with 1920 x 1080 resolution. If this specs are true, this will be the first Sony handset that will support 1080p resolution with a screen display of less than 5-inch.
According to Android Community, the Xperia Z4 Compact sports a 20 megapixel rear camera and a 12 megapixel front camera. The camera specs for the upcoming device does not surprise a lot of tech experts since the Sony's Xperia series is well-known for its top of the line camera.
Additional feature for the camera include autofocus, face detection, flash, touch focus and HDR photo.
Additionally, the smartphone will have 16 GB of internal storage and will possibly have a microSD slot for storage expansion. The Xperia Z4 Compact will run on the Android 5.0.2 Lollipop operating system. There are rumors pointing to a possible 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system since Google has already rolled out the update since Mar. 9.
Additional phone feature include accelerometer, bluetooth, gpc, nfc, lightsensor and Wi-Fi support.
