"Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 is only few months away from its premiere date. Meanwhile, speculations about the new instalment's storyline are running rampant. Rumours indicate that there is hope for Calzona. Reports suggest that Sara Ramirez's Callie and Jessica Capshaw's Arizona may resolve their differences and reunite as a couple in the 12th season of ABC's long-running medical drama.
According to Design & Trend, Callie and Arizona may reconcile in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12. The reports state, actress Jessica Capshaw has extended her contract with Shonda Rhimes' television series until May 2018. This has reportedly led fans to believe that Callie and Arizona will get back together.
Capshaw's contract was suppose to end in May, 2015. But she has got three years renewal. Thus fans believe that this will give ample time to Callie and Arizona to resolve their differences.
On the other hand, some fans are reportedly speculating the introduction of a new love interest for Arizona in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12.
Speaking to TV Line, Capshaw hinted at the possibility of a new affair for Arizona. "There was definite forward movement happening for Arizona, but it didn't quite fit" the actress told the publication.
She even talked about Callie and Arizona learning to live in "peaceful co-existence." She said they will eventually learn to talk about topics "that are tough for ex-wives." She also teased "big" events for Arizona in Season 12 of "Grey's Anatomy."
As for Callie, fans saw her getting back on the dating scene in Season 11. As for the actress' contract, it is said that it will expire in May 2016. Meanwhile, there is no news about Sara Ramirez's contract's renewal.
