The Season 11 in the nail-biting "Supernatural" series will more likely focus on the Winchester brothers joining forces to battle the unknown "The Darkness," that will decide if they are Win-chesters or Lose-chesters.
In last season, the hopes of the fans that the Winchester brothers had won over the evil in the end came crashing down when the finale episode ceased with the Winchester brothers along with their "Baby" being engulfed by "The Darkness."
The Season 11 is all to kick off from where the audiences were left hanging wondering the fate of the world.
The upcoming season will have the Winchesters siblings handling too many variables. First off is to determine what is "The Darkness" and how to vanquish it without losing their allies.
"This year, we have more of an epic feel with a Big Bad, and a quest for the brothers to unite on. I think it's a special Big Bad we have this year. It's a pre-biblical story that's never been told. I think it's going to be a fun, epic feel," executive producer Jeremy Carver said according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Even with all the spotlight on "The Darkness" Sam Winchester (Jensen Ackles) is excited and jokes because of how the writers had become tired of pity party and have given him a new or so as to say his old self back again.
This season will reveal a new level of bonding the between brothers as they unite to strive towards a common goal. He further adds "the brothers are united, similar to the way we were in season one when we were looking for dad. ... We're back to normal, so to speak, and we have a common target. I'm excited about that, I'm excited to get back to our original format," Christian Post reported.
The season will also have few lighter moments and fun filled episodes. Adding the suspense quotient Carver further hinted that in this season few favorite characters will be "coming back in surprising ways."
The other interesting scoop is the fourth episode of this season will be titled "Baby" and will feature the elder Winchester sibling and his life, a black 1967 Chevrolet Impala, which he calls "Baby".
