While filming the movie "All I See Is You" in Bangkok, Thailand, actress Blake Lively posted on Instagram on Thursday her photo while breastfeeding daughter James.
She shared that it is easier to breastfeed when wearing only a bikini. The 27-year-old star of "Age of Adaline" captioned the photo "The PERKS of breastfeeding."
She gave birth to James in December. James is her first child with husband Ryan Reynolds. Being parents had changed her perspective in life, states Blake. For instance, when she sees a hotel balcony, what comes to her mind is the hotel needs to demolish it "because my child can't go anywhere near it," Fox quotes her interview with Michael Strahan and Kelly Ripa on "Live! With Kelly and Michael."
Although she only shared in April how much motherhood has changed her, the actress had been saving clothes for her daughter since she was 16, according to "Entertainment Tonight."
While she was promoting "Age of Adaline," Blake told the LA Times that breastfeeding is a full-time job. While driving, she pumps her milk and saves it for James to feed on later. During media interviews, she has been seen cradling and nursing James.
LA Times reporter Amy Kaufman wrote, "She sits down on a couch, props a pillow on her lap and continues breast-feeding." Kaufman adds, "She acts as if it's not a big deal - having her baby here, in this hotel room with us - but it kind of feels like seeing a unicorn. The actress and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, have been secretive with the press about their daughter."
The secretiveness part remains even if Blake is not coy about breastfeeding James. She asked Kaufman not to describe her baby or her areolas either.
