The highly anticipated "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" Patch 1.07 release has finally happened today for PS4 and Xbox One and the CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the update will be available for PC in the next few hours.
“Patch 1.07 will be arriving on all platforms in the next 24h. Once it’s live everywhere, we will officially announce it,” tweeted Marcin Momot, Community Lead.
The update is already live on PlayStation 4 and weighs 7.544GB, while in case of the Xbox One version of the patch comes with a download size of 7.3GB. The Patch 1.07 PS4 version fixes the frame rate drop issue, in addition to the other bug fixes and enhancements, PlayStation LifeStyle reported.
As of the time of writing, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.07 PC version is yet to be rolled out and even the PS4 version of the update is not live in the EU region, Gear Nuke reported.
The upcoming patch 1.07 is a major update for the game and brings a load of fixes and improvements in general performance. “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.07 brings a new alternative movement for Geralt, a new stash option for players to store their loots, changes in the selected game-world areas, a variety of collision fixes, improvements in the game streaming system, and also adds new features.
The update resolves rare issues with the player’s horse, bug that causes target locking, glitch that leads to partial removal of skills with Potion of Clearance, the infinite loading screen error in the “Ladies of the Wood” quest, bug that when exploited allowed players to loot a single chest repeatedly. The problem with gamers getting locked in the “Through Time and Space” quest inside a room, has also been resolved in the Patch 1.07.
According to the flooded Twitter feed, “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” Patch 1.07 release is happening slowly, as players from many region have tweeted asking when will the update roll out in their region. However, CD Projekt Red has made it clear that within today, the patch will be available for all platforms in all regions.
