The much awaited “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” Patch 1.07 release will happen pretty soon and will include an extra fix for the PlayStation 4.
The upcoming patch will bring an additional fix for the issue with frame rate drops on the PS4 version, which is not included in the full patch notes revealed by CD Projekt Red, according to GeekSnack.
Community Lead Marcin Momot has confirmed that “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.07 will fix the PS4 frame rate dips problem, in his response to a fan asking if the said issue will be fixed or not.
Earlier this week, reports surfaced suggesting the patch 1.07 release would happen alongside the free DLC roll out. Just a few days back, CD Projekt Red released the alternate look for Ciri DLC, with no update on “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.07 roll out.
However, the confirmation of fix for PS4 frame rate drops issue by Momot, has lend weight to rumors that the patch update might come with additional fixes that is not listed in the change log.
The new update will packs new features like a stash for players to store their loots, an alternative movement style for Geralt, a variety of collision fixes, number of improvements to the gameplay, and enhancements in the overall performance, as per the full patch notes.
“The Witcher 3” patch 1.07 roll out is expected to be by this weekend, or early next week, as some fans have reportedly stopped playing the game, still the patch arrives.
Nevertheless, CD Projekt Red is yet to officially announce “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” patch 1.07 release date.
