Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" is hitting the big screen in 2016 and "Never Back Down" actor Evan Peters has revealed the plan for his character in the upcoming film.
Peters is going to play the role of the mutant Quicksilver in Singer's upcoming film. In his interview with MTV, the "Never Back Down" actor said that he, along with Marvel, is preparing for a "bigger" and "better" concept for the speedster. Peters also added that they are going to retain what were effective and they will be instilling some new elements.
According to Peters, he is also thrilled to see the entire concept, as well as for the fans to see it as well. For the actor, the Quicksilver scene will be an amusing one in the film as Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" is the last installment of the "X-Men: First Class" film series.
In Singer's "X-Men: Days of Future Past," Peters' role as Quicksilver was viewed as monumental as he helped Professor X and Wolverine free Magneto.
The scene involved a remarkable scene using the speedster's ability ironically, featuring him in slow motion with some Jim Croce "Time In A Bottle" playing. As per Cinema Blend, it is assumed that the "X-Men: Apocalypse" will do it again, with new surprises to engage the fans.
Along with Peters, "X-Men: Apocalypse" also stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Lucas Till, Lara Condor, Ben Hardy, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Olivia Munn, Rose Byrne, Josh Helman, and Oscar Isaac, among others.
Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 27, 2016. Watch the "X-Men: Days of Future Past" Quicksilver scene here:
