Xbox One players will get first dibs on EA and DICE's upcoming "Star Wars Battlefront." This is all thanks to EA's subscription service currently exclusive to the Xbox One, the EA Access.
Xbox boss Phil Spencer had confirmed this via a tweet, where he responded to a fan query who asked him directly if EA Access will enable the feature, IGN reported. According to Spencer, Xbox Live subscribers will be able to play "Star Wars Battlefront" first on the Xbox One with EA Access.
This subscription service has been available for Xbox One users at $29.99 a year. The feature allows players to access a vault of games from EA. This is only available on the Xbox One, due to Sony's official confirming that it is not interested in offering the service to PS4 players.
EA, on the other hand, has given fans a sneak peek of what it has been doing following feedback collection for "Star Wars Battlefront." One member of the Game Changers program clarified how exactly the feedback collection happens, DualShockers reported.
Redditor The_Poolshark explained that this program gathers individuals who have different backgrounds and consults them on what they think of the early code of the game. From these individuals give feedback based on the community that they represent, to aid the developer in making "Star Wars Battlefront" more appealing to players. The group was also able to go hands-on with the title, and contribute as a gamer in terms of insights on what can help the game.
He added that, based on the available gameplay for "Star Wars Battlefront," hardcore fans of "Battlefield 4" should not expect the kind of experience with the upcoming space shooter. Interestingly, The_Poolshark mentioned "Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare" and added that those who enjoyed it may enjoy "Star Wars Battlefront."
