With "Zoo" season 1 episode 4 titled "Pack Mentality" airing on July 21, Tuesday, "Mad Men" alum James Wolk, who is currently in Rome, took to Twitter to share a behind-the-scenes photo of him and his co-star Geoff Stults.
"Episode 4 of @ZooCBS tonight! In Rome so can't live tweet. But here's a behind the scenes pic. Welcome @geoffstults!" Wolk tweeted on July 21, Tuesday, along with his photo with Stults.
Before playing Agent Ben Shaffer in "Zoo," Stults starred in the TV series "Ben And Kate," "Enlisted" and "The Odd Couple." He also currently plays Mitch in "Grace And Frankie," with Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin playing the title roles.
On the other hand, Wolk played Bob Benson in "Mad Men" before landing the role of zoologist Jackson Oz in the new CBS series based on the suspense novel co-written by mystery icon James Patterson.
In a recent interview with Zap2it, Wolk said "Zoo" has actually taken his amazement at landing the role of a zoologist turned African tour guide seed and gone in various directions under the go-ahead and blessing of Patterson.
Pointing out that a TV show has the opportunity to try various directions with adaptations, Wolk said he "jumped at the chance to be a part of it" after reading the book and the script with "an amazing group of writers and producers" including Patterson.
Wolk has nothing but praises for the handlers and trainers who work on "Zoo" with how they guarantee the safety of the CBS show's cast and crew. He explained, "You literally can't get any more animals in one project. It takes patience with them and respect for them."
