USA Network aired a high-drama finale episode of "Royal Pains" season 7 on July 21, Tuesday, called "Lending A Shoulder." The 7th season, which started on June 2, commenced with Evan (Paulo Constanzo) and Paige (Brooke D'Orsay) still childless.
While Divya (Reshma Shetty) embarking on new a new chapter in her life, Hank (Mark Feuerstein) has an awkward run-in with his ex-fiancee Nikki (Maddie Jo Landers).
"Royal Pains" season 7 episode showed Evan and Paige fussing over whether or not they should get personal with Elan, whose baby they are planning to adopt. The couple ended up inviting the teen mother on lunch and afterwards took her to their house to show her the baby's room and other stuff.
Meanwhile, Hank goes out on a call to attend a client who has got a sprained ankle a day before his marriage, where he finds that her former lover Nikki is his patient's fiancée. He later rants about the same to his assistant-cum-friend Divya, who in turn spills her own secret that she is still in love with her childhood friend Raj with whom she had broken up in season 6.
Elan started to feel dizzy in Paige's house and insists on leaving when her water breaks. She is rushed to hospital where she declares that she will not take any medication and will go for a natural birth. Paige and Evan help her through the labor and she manages to give birth to a healthy baby girl.
While the couple is happily cooing over the infant, Elan announces that she has changed her mind and will not give the child for adoption. Paige breaks down, but reassures her that she will be always there for her.
Divya happened to meet Raj on her grandmother's funeral where he came with his kids. He later meets her to disclose that he is breaking up with his wife because he is still in love with her.
