After almost two years, reality star Khloé Kardashian and Lamar Odom finally agreed to sign the legal documents on July 17, Friday, to officially mark the end of their marriage. This is the last step that both parties need to undertake to finish the divorce process.
The news about the official signing of court documents was only confirmed on July 21, Tuesday, as Kardashian tweeted that she had a crazy day and she was very emotional for this new chapter of her life. She also found time to thank everyone who showed her love and support.
However, the E! star and her soon-to-be former husband are not officially single yet because the judge still needs to sign the court documents that both parties filed, according to TMZ. Kardashian filed the divorce papers in December 2013, but the case did not progress for more than a year because it appears that the couple is not that decisive to continue their divorce during that time and there were even instances that they wanted to reconcile. There was a point where the judge warned them that the case will be dismissed.
Clearly, the reality star is now decided to move on and she even confirmed that she is currently seeing NBA superstar James Harden. This shows Kardashian is into professional basketball players as Odom is also a former NBA player.
On the other hand, the ex-NBA player seemed trapped in their past. Perhaps, he signed the divorce papers bitterly since he even called Kardashian "my girl" in May.
Meanwhile, aside from being committed to a popular NBA player, it was confirmed by E! News on July 21, Tuesday, that the reality star will enter a new commitment, her very own primetime talk show. Kardashian cannot contain her excitement for her very own show as she happily announced the good news on her Instagram post.
The new program will be shown on FYI around the end of 2015 and it will be titled "Kocktails With Khloé." The series will start filming right away and was set to have a total of eight episodes while each episode will air for an hour.
According to the press release of FYI, the show is more of a cozy dinner party with different personalities and icon including friends of the reality star. Kardashian's guests will join her to cook, to talk about pop culture and to play "outrageously fun party games."
