Sony Pictures Entertainment has finally unveiled the first full-length trailer of the latest James Bond installment, "Spectre," on July 22, Wednesday. The 24th official James Bond movie preview showed the usual Bond elements and it finally unveiled the ultimate nemesis as the villain stepped out of the literal shadow.
Running for two and a half minutes, the "Spectre" trailer gave the international fans a closer look at the new plot of the film and who are the characters, as well as the actors, that became involved in the latest Bond franchise.
The "Spectre" trailer showed the usual Bond elements like the use of guns, driving a brand new expensive car, and use of different "exotic locations." The latest Bond film also proved to be another action-packed film as the preview showed massive shootouts, extraordinary driving skills, helicopter crashes and spine-tingling stunts.
It is also noticeable that there are several "Bond girls" in the film and just like the other Bond films, they are pretty and mysterious. Some of the "Bond girls" identified in the trailer were "The Matrix Reloaded" actress Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, "Blue is the Warmest Color" actress Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swann, "Miss Bala" Mexican actress Stephanie Sigman as Estrella, and Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, who appeared again as a field agent just like in the previous Bond movie "Skyfall".
Aside from unveiling the beautiful Bond girls, the ultimate nemesis of the film was also revealed in the preview. It is none other than the two-time Oscar winner Christoph Waltz, who will play the "shadowy ringleader" of the devil-like organization, Spectre, according to Esquire. Then, the preview also showed the new head of the Center for National Security in London, Andrew Scott as Max Denbigh.
In the trailer, Bond was sent to a mission in Mexico City then to Rome, where he will meet Sciarra, an attractive and forbidden widow of an infamous criminal. Then, will infiltrate a secret meeting where he will find out about an evil organization named "Spectre."
Afterwards, Denbigh questioned Bond's activities and even challenges the importance of MI6, led by M, which was played again by Ralph Fiennes. Secretly, Bond asked the help of Moneypenny and Q, played by Ben Whishaw, to support him in reaching Swann, the daughter of his old enemy Mr. White, played by Jesper Christensen. This is Bond's way to find a clue so he can untangle the web of the evil organization.
