The fans of James Bond spy got a huge surprise when Sony recently released behind-the-scene footage of the upcoming movie's incredible car chase shot through the streets of Rome.
Neil Clayton, technical coordinator and Chirs Corbould, special effects supervisor of the upcoming movie, "Spectre ," explaine in the video that eight Aston Martins were made especially for this film. The duo also explained further how the cars had to be manipulated so that the stunts they perform look convincing to the viewers.
The James Bond movie is unthinkable without flashy, fast cars and cat-and-mouse chase scenes. In the teaser, the movie's director Sam Mendes offers a sneak preview of a chase scene between Bond and nemesis Mr. Hinx.
Daniel Craig, who is playing Bond for the fourth time, is in an Aston Martin DB10 while Hinx is driving a high-powered Jaguar C-X75 as the two are seen weaving through the streets and landmarks of Rome, state the official website 007.
"It's a cat-and-mouse game through the night time streets of Rome, at great speed, between two of the fastest cars in the world," says Mendes in the video who further explains that they had shut down a particular section of Rome's streets to film the exquisite scene.
Dave Bautista, who is playing the role of Hinx, even forecasts in the video that the chase scene will become one of the most iconic scenes of James Bond movies.
"Spectre " is set to hit the screen on Nov 6. Cinema Blend reported that the movie will be a sequel of the last movie of James Bond series, "Skyfall." Bond will be seen in a quest to uncover a sinister organization acronymed as SPECTRE which is talked about in its several prequels as well. The plot will build on elements introduced in "Skyfall." Craig will be supported by Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, Lea Seydoux and Ralph Fiennes.
