John Cena, the famous wrestler who famously played the role of Amy Schumer's boyfriend in recently released "Trainwreck," suffered a broken nose following a knee to the face by Seth Rollins on WWE's "Monday Night Raw."
As the fight began on July 27 episode, Rollins kneed Cena in the face, who in turn spun backwards slammed, into the ropes and fell to the mat. Although, it was a gruesome sight as the blood started spurting from the 38-year-old wrestler's nose due to the impact, the United States Champion continued to wrestle despite the serious injury and ended up defeating Rollins to defend the title. Apart from excelling in wrestling and being the current WWE United States Champion in his fourth reign, Cena is also creating ripples in the acting world owing to his recent role as Schumer's doting gym-addict boyfriend in "Trainwreck."
Although the movie is not appreciated much by critics, it is undoubtedly a huge box-office hit that has grossed $61.8 million, against a budget of $35 million.
Cena's next movie, "Sisters," is set to hit the theatres on Dec. 25, wherein the wrestler will play the role of a tattooed drug dealer, Daily Mail reported. The movie will also star "Mean Girls" star Tina Fey, "Parks And Recreation" star Amy Poehler and Dianne Wiest.
