Two fan-favorite shows will crossover next Monday as WWE Monday Raw will feature an "Arrow" star.
Stephen Amell, the actor who plays the title role in the series "Arrow", will be making a guest appearance in the WWE ring on Monday. The actor made the announcement via Twitter, hinting that he will face wrestler Stardust in the ring.
"Ok @StardustWWE -- you asked for it. See you next Monday," the actor tweeted, together with the hashtag #AmellGetsRaw.
According to IGN, Stardust and Amell's feud has been heating up since May after a "WWE RAW altercation back at the end of May." The two have also been exchanging trash talks on social media, seemingly paving the way for in-ring face off.
"Hey @StardustWWE - I'm not a wrestler. But if you keep calling me out, I'm going to come to Raw and punch you right in the mouth," the actor tweeted on July 27.
This is in reply to Stardust's earlier tweet wherein the wrestler let the world know what he wanted to do to Amell.
"I should break @amellywood 's nose," Stardust tweeted on July 24.
The Twitter war went on until yesterday when it was confirmed that the actor will make an appearance on Raw.
According to Fansided, the two could be working on a spot for WWE SummerSlam 2015.
"There have been rumors for quite a while that Stardust and Amell could be working a program at Summerslam and this could very well be the start of it," the site noted.
The "Arrow" actor Stephen Amell will appear on WWE Raw on Monday, August 10.
