The Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event scheduled on Aug. 13 will feature the release of the company's Gear A Smartwatch. The wearable was first unveiled by the company at Tizen Developer Summit in Bangalore, India.

The Gear A Smartwatch runs on the most recent Tizen 2.3.1 Operating System and has a round screen with 360 × 360 pixel resolution. The specifications of this device are rumored to include a 768MB RAM, 4GB storage capacity, a 2-core Exynos 3472 SoC, a 250-mAh battery, GPS and barometer sensors, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, and a heart rate monitor.

According to Digital Trends, Galaxy Note 5 aka Project Noble that will be launched during the Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event runs on an AMOLED QHD 2560×1440 pixel screen that is 5.7 inches. The phablet sports Samsung's own Exynos 7422 system on chip (SoC), 4GB RAM, 32GB internal memory, a microSD slot for expansion of the storage capacity, and operates on 5.1.1 Lollipop Android version in addition to the manually ejected S Pen stylus.

Meanwhile, there are similarities between the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy Note 5 except for a few variations. Reports from Phone Arena reveal that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus has an edged display, 3GB RAM, and a less powerful Exynos 7420 SoC - specs that set a clear difference from the Galaxy Note 5.

The three devices will be at the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event that will be held at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, New York, on Aug. 13.
