The New York Knicks are interested in having Jamal Crawford, who is a Los Angeles Clippers guard. Moreover, Miami Heat and the Cleveland Cavaliers have also expressed their desire to have Crawford.
According to a report by New York Daily News' Frank Isola, Crawford is a favorite of Isiah Thomas, who was president of New York Knicks in 2004 and he got him from the Chicago Bulls.
However, in 2008 Thomas was asked to leave and the new president Donnie Walsh made a deal with the Golden State Warriors for Crawford and New York Knicks wanted cap space.
"FYI: Jamal Crawford is a favorite of James Dolan as well as Steve Mills, Allan Houston but most of all - drum roll please - Isiah Thomas," Isola tweeted on Aug. 18, 2015.
Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers are also trying to make a deal for having Crawford on board. However, the team's first considering to have J.R. Smith again. Smith turned a deal down worth $6.4 million in this season.
Isola also noted that the Miami Heat are also in the race of having Crawford. It is going to be a tough one for the Heat, as they are looking for good players.
In over 15 seasons, Crawford has given his services to six teams. With 64 games last game, he averaged 15.8 points and considered a good player in the circuit.
However, it will be interesting to see what Los Angeles Clippers want in return. Stay tuned for more NBA rumors and updates. Share your views in the comments section.
