Spider-Man's Aunt May has been reported to appear in Joe Russo and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War."
Sources told Heroic Hollywood that Marisa Tomei, who is playing the role of Spider-Man's Aunt May, discreetly shot filmed her scenes in the upcoming movie prior to the production wrap-up. With Peter Parker's room to be also featured in the forthcoming film, it is assumed that Aunt May and Parker will exchange some lines in the web-slinger's room.
Marvel will debut a teenage Spider-Man in its Cinematic Universe, so it is logical to include Aunt May in "Captain America: Civil War" for an adult control, as per Cinema Blend. In addition, Aunt May could serve as a person to lean on as the battle among the superheroes embarks. Tom Holland was spotted in the film's Germany set, which sparked some rumors that Spider-Man would battle Captain America.
Spider-Man has been reported to be part of Iron Man's pro-registration side, along with War Machine, Vision, and Hawkeye. On the other hand, Captain America's anti-registration side will include Black Widow, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Ant-Man, and the Winter Soldier.
Aside from Tomei and Holland, "Captain America: Civil War" also stars Martin Freeman, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Bruhl, Hayley Atwell, Frank Grillo, Paul Bettany, Paul Rudd, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Elizabeth Olsen, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan, Anthony Mackie, Robert Downey Jr., and Chris Evans.
Directed by the Russos, "Captain America: Civil War" is set to hit theaters in the United States on May 6, 2016 while Jon Watts' solo film "Spider-Man" is slated to premiere theaters on July 28, 2017.
