It seems the much awaited New Game Plus mode for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" rolled out last week, has a glitch that allows players to fight monsters with triple digit levels.
As per the new video about the glitch posted by YouTube channel MadMonkey Gameplay, the bug can be activated just as Geralt achieves over 330 percent Sign intensity in combat. Players must disengage from a fight after attacking a monster with a Sign, and then fight again by getting closer. This greatly increases the enemies’ skill level, with monster levels reaching into the hundreds, VG24/7 reported.
The video showcases high leveled Cyclops, Fiend, Forktail, Chort and other monsters, along with details on how the bug works, which makes the monsters impossible to beat. All "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" PS4, Xbox One and the PC versions are said to be affected by the glitch, Segment Next reported.
The New Game Plus mode allows players to start a new playthrough, while keeping all the skills earned as well as the items. This is the final DLC out of the last 16 DLCs promised by the developer CD Projekt Red.
All the free DLCs are available for download and the developer is already working on two expansion packs to be titled Hearts of Stone, and Blood and Wine. The size of the two new expansions will be almost as big as "The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings," according to CDPR’s Konrad Tomaszkiewicz.
The Hearts of Stone expansion will be set in Oxenfurt and will more likely see the return of Shani. The first expansion will be round 10 hours long and is slated for a release this October.
As for the Blood and Wine expansion, it will be over 20 hours long, set in an all-new in-game region of Toussaint, with new adventures, gear and foes. The expansion is set to release in the first quarter of 2016.
The developer is also working on a number of patches for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," with the patch 1.08 update just released recently.
