It seems like the highly anticipated "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" patch 1.08 release will happen in just a few days even before the New Game+ DLC, expected to be rolled out this week.

While there is no specific release window for the upcoming patch 1.08 as of now, "The Witcher" community lead, Marcin Momot has made it clear that the fans can expect the patch update release before the New Game+ DLC, in his post responding to a fan asking which of the both will be released first, Gamepur reported

However, the release window before New Game+ DLC release was previous speculated, as the patch brings preparatory features for the DLC.

"The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" patch 1.08 fixes all the issues caused by the patch 1.07, along with other problems like occasional glitch in one of the dwarf combat animations, disappearing of heads chopped off during finishers, items disappearing from stash, interiors not displayed properly on the mini map.

Bug resulting Geralt getting stuck sometimes while trying to run the entrance area getting blocked during the Sunstone quest has been resolved. Also, issue in the "King's Gambit" quest, where the basement was locked, drowners having harder time in the "Black Pearl" quest, to kill Nidas, glitch causing players unable to interact with Roche in the "Brother in Arms" and "A Eye for an Eye" quests, and in the "Get Junior" quest, where he stays at his camp has also be fixed.

With this patch, the issue with Card Collector achievement, glitch causing Zoltan's card unobtainable, bug in the "Something Ends, Something Begins" quest that leads to Geralt's death, just as he travels to Velen, has also been fixed, according to the Patch 1.08 changelog in the official forum.

CD Projekt Red is more likely having its plate full as apart from "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" patch 1.08 and New Game+ DLC release, the developer is working on two upcoming expansions for the game - "Hearts of Stone" and "Blood and Wine" scheduled to be released in October and early 2016 respectively.
