Grammy Award-winning country singer Carrie Underwood's recently released "Smoke Break" video has all the elements of an attention-getting production. The single is part of the "American Idol" star's fifth studio album "Storyteller" which will be on the market on Oct. 23.
Since Underwood came out with her debut album in 2005 entitled "Some Hearts," the Oklahoma-born crooner has been unstoppable. "Storyteller" shows much promise of being another hit. The video of the lead single "Smoke Break" features Underwood in her sexy best, just six months after giving birth to her son.
The song has been described as sultry and with a refreshing dose of "laidback country cool," Rolling Stone reported. The star of "The Sound of Music" TV adaptation of the classic film gets to go back to her roots, doing things like hitting the dirt road while singing. Viewers also get a glimpse of the Mojave Desert, and hear out Underwood as she sings the life stories of America's working class.
"Smoke Break" tackles the very relatable theme of toiling hard to survive, and looking forward to a much-deserved break. Clad in short denim shorts and knee-high boots, Underwood is a visual delight, showing to all and sundry that she is one hot mama.
The 32-year-old country chart topper has proven that her musical career is not taking a backseat to motherhood. Marriage and parenthood are bound to work their way into what she does as an artist, Underwood told People magazine. However, she is not about to devote an entire album to songs about being a mom but she was not able to resist including a song about her son in her new album.
Given Underwood's amazing vocal range, songs that convey meaningful messages, and a hot body, fans continue to be amazed, creating a stir on Twitter sphere, Facebook, and Instagram. All eyes (and ears) are definitely on Underwood.
