"Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara recently confirmed that they have already started filming episodes for the upcoming seventh season of the series.
On her Instagram account, Vergara posted photo of herself alongside Eric Stonestreet and revealed that they filmed a scene together.
"First scene of the season with this co-worker @ericstonestreet," she captioned the snap.
Vergara plays the role of Gloria Pritchett, the wife of Joe Pritchett (Pierce Wallace). Stonestreet, meanwhile, plays the role of a gay man name Cameron on "Modern Family."
Meanwhile, fans are anticipating big wins for "Modern Family" at the 2015 Emmy Awards.
According to Deadline, the sitcom has been dominating that award show for the past five years. Throughout those years, "Modern Family" has won in the Outstanding Comedy Series category.
This year, the ABC hit is up against the likes of "Parks and Recreation," "Louie," "Silicon Valley," "Veep," "Unbrekable" and "Kimmy Schmidt."
The publication noted that there is a huge chance that "Modern Family" will win again this year because the sitcom has lived up to the demands of audiences by providing quality comedy.
In other news, Vergara is currently busy with her wedding preparations. The actress is set to walk down the aisle and wed Joe Manganiello. The couple will reportedly tie the knot in November. As of late, it is still unclear whether or not Vergara and Manganiello are would want to have babies immediately after their union, according to PopSugar.
"Modern Family" airs Wednesdays on ABC.
