A premium LG G4 Pro release is speculated to happen before the end of 2015 with high-end specs.
LG Electronics CEO for Mobile Communications Cho Jun-ho announced in June the company will release a super premium smartphone in the second half of the year. However, it took back what it said recently.
However, the company is still slated to release a "hero" smartphone in the fall, Phone Arena reported. Rumors claim that the next "hero" flagship from LG will be the LG G4 Pro phablet. The handset is expected to feature a 5.8-inch display that will support Quad HD resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
The device is expected to come with remarkable camera features. Rumors suggest that the LG G4 Pro will arrive with dual camera setup, G for Games reported. Previous rumors claimed that the LG G4 Pro will be arriving with a rear camera of 27 MP. The front is expected to house an 8 MP selfie camera.
Since there is no confirmation on whether it will be featuring a Snapdragon 820 chipset, it may launch with Snapdragon 810 chipset onboard. The SoC will be supported by 4 GB of RAM.
The LG G Flex 2 that arrived at the beginning of 2015 was marred with thermal overheating issues of Snapdragon 810 chipset. However, the LG G4 Pro is expected to feature an improved edition of SD 810 that will not cause overheating problems.
The upcoming phablet from LG is expected to feature a stylus that will allow it take on the Galaxy Note 5 phablet.
