Hawkeye tried to kill Quicksilver in a filming video clip of Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron."
The video was included in the behind-the-scenes footage collection for Whedon's film, which was out on 3D Digital and Digital HD. In the video clip during the film shooting, Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson) is lying dead and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) has his hand on his teammate's mouth and nose, choking him. After that, Quicksilver rose up, revealing that it was a gag during the film shooting.
Quicksilver's demise was one of the most emotive scenes in Whedon's film, as per Cinema Blend. While Taylor-Johnson's character will not be seen in the next Marvel films, there is still a possibility.
Whedon previously told Empire that they filmed three scenes involving Quicksilver. According to the director, they shot Quicksilver in the final scene in his outfit and the second one is with the Speedster waking up and saying that he did not really die from the bullets. The director also said that they shot "something else," which he did not reveal right away.
Meanwhile, Hawkeye is set to be seen in "Captain America: Civil War," which revolves around the release of the superhero registration act or the "accords."
Previously, Renner tweeted a photo on his official Twitter account and it showed a concept art of the two divided teams in the Russos' "Captain America: Civil War." His character Hawkeye is in Captain America's anti-registration side along with Ant-Man, Agent 13, Falcon, and the Winter Soldier. Iron Man's pro-registration side, on the other hand, includes War Machine, Black Widow, Black Panther, and Vision.
Directed by the Russos, "Captain America: Civil War" is slated to premiere in theaters in the United States on May 6, 2016. Watch the clip here:
