Michael Shanon may appear as a ghost in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." In a recent conversation during his appearance on "Larry King Now," the actor revealed that his character Zod will not have flippers but could be a "kind of ghost."
Comicbook quoted Shanon's statement, "The pressure that I'm under in this situation sometimes leads me to say silly things like Zod has flippers. It was a false.. red herring, as it were."
He added, "It's the same thing like in the first one with Jor-El. Russell Crowe's character is kind of like a ghost."
Shanon's character Zod was killed in "Man of Steel." In the trailer of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" Zod's dead body was shown being getting retrieved. It has yet to confirm how Shannon's character factor in the film but he did confirm to King that he features in the film.
He was also asked during the show whether his character has a scene to share with Batman. To this Shannon said that he will "not cross paths" with Ben Affleck's character.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will see Batman going to Metropolis to keep Superman's actions in check. As they will take on each other, a common enemy will threaten the city.
Henry Cavill from "Man of Steel" will reprise his role of Superman/Clark Kent and Gal Gadot will be seen in the role of Wonder Woman/Diana Prince. The other star cast consists of Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Holly Hunter. Zack Snyder has directed it from screenplay by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer. It opens Mar.25, 2016.
