"The Social Network" actor Jesse Eisenberg has revealed that Zack Snyder's upcoming DC Comics film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is a prodigious movie.
Eisenberg will play Lex Luthor in Snyder's forthcoming film. In his interview with The Today Show to promote his new book "Bream Gives Me Hiccups," Eisenberg said that Snyder's film will not be a typical "cartoonish" superhero film. With DC films having a dark tone, the actor also mentioned that the upcoming superhero film will be "very serious," yet "well acted, well written, and well directed."
Previous trailers suggest that Luthor plans to make the Man of Steel the greatest threat to mankind, along with sequences showing him see General Zod's body and a big piece of Kryptonite. Known as Superman's archenemy, Luthor's plans on terminating the Man of Steel with his fortune and intelligence are yet to be revealed, as per Cinema Blend.
Aside from David Fincher's "The Social Network," Eisenberg is also known for his roles in Ruben Fleischer's horror adventure film "Zombieland" and Louis Leterrier's crime thriller "Now You See Me." He is also set to appear in Jon M. Chu's "Now You See Me" sequel, "Now You See Me: The Second Act" and Woody Allen's untitled comedy film.
Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." Snyder's film will serve as the groundwork to the rise of the Justice League. The film will also see Eisenberg's relationship with other cast members, including Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, and Amy Adams, among others.
Snyder's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to premiere in theaters on Mar. 25, 2016.
