A new update is now available for "Madden NFL 16" and it will bring some changes in the looks department for the game. EA Sports has released the latest free update in celebration of the NFL season-opener.
The "Madden NFL 16" patch is out for both next-gen consoles PS4 and Xbox One, but there has been no word on when the PS3 and Xbox 360 patch will arrive, GameSpot reported. The additions bring the players closer to their real-life counterparts, as in the case of Eric Weddle of the San Diego Chargers. As seen in the screenshot in the link, he sports a more realistic version of his beard.
Some of the other changes include a more realistic skin complexion, improved rendering of the eyes and even proper shadowing that makes the players look more life-like. A total of 180 new player likeness have been released with the update.
Players who want to know the full list of fixes coming to "Madden NFL 16" with the new update may need to wait a while. EA has not yet posted the full patch notes for now, but for those who have been having Madden Connected Franchise issues may actually find it working properly this time.
Still, this is not the only update to debut for "Madden NFL 16." The other patch taken care of a few gameplay issues as well a provided fixes for some problems with the Madden Ultimate Team and the Connected Franchise.
"Madden NFL 16" has taken the top spot in PS4 games for August, PlayStation Blog reported. This may be expected, considering that this was the launch month of the game for the PS4. Over at the PS3, the game ranks fifth, still lagging behind some older titles, but still overtaking the likes of "Grand Theft Auto V," "Gran Turismo 6" and "The Last of Us."
